Katherine Jenkins to meet fans at HMV

Posted October 19 2009 05:46 PM
One of the UK's biggest Classical artists, Katherine Jenkins, celebrates the release of her new album, 'Believe', with five in-store appearances at hmv stores starting at hmv's St Mary's Square store in Swansea on Monday 26th October 2009.

Katherine - who will be arriving via helicopter to Swansea - will be at the store from 3.00pm to meet fans and sign copies of her new album, which is officially released through Warners. Later that same day, at 6.00pm, Katherine visits hmv's Queens Street store in Cardiff for another in-store signing session.

Katherine then visits two more hmv stores in one day on Wednesday 28th October 2009, when she meets fans at hmv's Bullring store in Birmingham at 1.00pm followed by another signing session at hmv's Trafford Centre store in Manchester at 6.00pm.

Next up, Katherine heads over to hmv's Westfield shopping centre store in London's Shepherd's Bush, on Friday 30th October 2009, for her final signing session which kicks off at 5.00pm.

Katherine spent the spring of 2009 in LA at David Foster's (Seal, Michael Buble) studio, recording `Believe', the 7th album of her phenomenal career.

With a broad mix of contemporary and traditional repertoire the record not only delivers for existing fans but will also broaden her audience across the globe. From the haunting Sarah McLachlan song, `Angel', through to a stunning working of 90's Evanescence's `Bring Me To Life', the mezzo soprano's unique vocal interpretations bind seamlessly with Foster's arrangement and production.
