Razorlight Want Noel Gallagher To Produce Next Album

Posted September 30 2009 09:24 PM

Razorlight want Noel Gallagher to produce their next album.
The 'In The Morning’ rockers are huge fans of the former Oasis star and would love to team up with him as they think he’d bring a different sound to their LP.
Guitarist Bjorn Sten Agren said: 'I’d be interested in hearing a Noel solo album. He’s got a better voice than his brother Liam. Maybe we should get Noel to produce the new Razorlight album? We’re looking for a producer. We need some Northern credibility!'
Noel quit Oasis last month after a furious row with sibling Liam, who is the group’s frontman, seemingly ending the band’s 16-year career.
It was recently reported Noel will join Kasabian on their forthcoming tour.
Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan said: "We've got our arena tour in November. Noel will be calling us up nearer the time for sure saying, 'Guys, I'm going to come perform with you on tour.'
"He's a performing machine, and loves playing live so he jumps at the opportunity whenever he can join us."
Tom also revealed the band may also record a track with Noel in the future.
He said: "We'd love to do a track with him - never say never. But at the moment he's concentrating on his solo stuff and we're busy as ever."
