Madness have confirmed that they will play a gig in a castle this summer.
The Nutty Boys will take over the Carisbrooke Castle for the Summer Madness! concert on the Isle of Wight on August 30th.
The pop ska legends will perform at the castle as part of their 30th Anniversary tour and Suggs and the band have promised a spectacular array of hits both old and new.
With many more support acts lined up throughout the day, along with a range of licensed bars, food outlets and merchandising stalls, the show is expected to draw in a 10,000 strong capacity crowd.
Organisers hope the event will attract people of all ages, as well as Madness fans who have been unable to see their heroes in other parts of the country.
Summer Madness! is the brain child of legendary live music promoter and Isle of Wight resident John Curd, who has successfully promoted large scale festivals and concerts for over 30 years and organised The Sex Pistols Reunion Tour.
He said: "As an Island resident, I wanted to create a boutique music event, that offered fantastic fun at a great location.
"The Isle of Wight is now starting to become known as the festival isle and we want to add to that great reputation, by providing a yearly event that puts on the very best of music in one of the most beautiful settings in the British Isles.'
