Ringo Starr has been decapitated in Liverpool in a revenge attack on the star for negative comments he made about the city.
Starr was sitting behind a drum kit in topiary statue form in Liverpool with the rest of his former band mates in The Beatles when vandals came and chopped off his head.
It is believed to be in retaliation for comments he made on the BBC program 'Friday Night With Jonathan Ross' in January. When asked what he (who now lives in Los Angeles) misses about Liverpool, he replied, "nothing".
Apparently this was taken none-too-kindly by the Liverpuddlians, who feel that their industrial port town is a world-class destination.
