Hip-hop singer Taboo from the hit band the Black Eyed Peas was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a crash in Industry (about 20 miles east of Los Angeles) Tuesday morning.
 
The singer, whose real name is Jaime Luis Gomez, was arrested, but was later released with a citation for  possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of a prescribed medication without a prescription and driving under the influence, according to Los Angeles sheriff's Lt. Mark Relyea.

There has not been a court date announced for Taboo. He is part of the Grammy-winning group Black Eyed Peas – which also includes apl.de.ap and breakout stars will.i.am and Fergie.
