Burglars broke into the swanky Hollywood Hills abode of country music stars Faith Hill and Tim McGraw over the weekend and stole an unknown amount of money, police released in a statement Tuesday.

Los Angeles police said the robbery took place some time between Friday afternoon and Monday. The couple was not at their California home during the crime.

Billboard.com reports that Hill and McGraw, who also have a domecile in Nashville, Tennessee, were the highest-grossing country act in 2006, taking in nearly $89 million from 73 shows.

Their publicist told Reuters last week they plan to start a new tour in the summer of 2007.
