Madonna's tot doing great

Posted January 26 2007 06:45 PM

Madonna says her adopted Malawian baby is doing "great".

The 'Hung Up' singer spoke of her son, David Banda, while attending the premiere of her new movie 'Arthur and The Invisibles' in London's Leicester Square on Thursday night (25.10.07).

When asked by fans about the 16-month-old tot, Madonna answered: "He's great. He's wonderful and at home in bed."

Madonna - who voices the character of Princess Selenia in the animated story - attended the premiere with her film director husband Guy Ritchie, and her two other children, Lourdes, 10, and Rocco, six.

Gripping her husband's arm, the 48-year-old pop superstar quashed rumors their marriage is in trouble.

She said: "We're wonderful, thank you."

Madonna caused controversy when she adopted David last October.

The singer was accused of being granted received special treatment by the Malawian legal authorities, as no specific adoption laws exist in the African country.

Madonna and Guy were granted an 18-month interim order, after claiming David had been in a critical condition and was suffering from pneumonia when they found him and required immediate medical treatment.
