KT Tunstall Looks Ahead to New AlbumPosted December 19 2006 10:19 AMKT Tunstall is still reaping the benefits of her multiplatinum 'Eye to the Telescope' album, with the latest accolades coming in the form of a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, for the song 'Black Horse and the Cherry Tree,' alongside Christina Aguilera, Natasha Bedingfield, Sheryl Crow and Pink. But the Scottish lass is already looking ahead to what's next. Tunstall says she's already well into the recording process of her follow-up album. "We've done our first six weeks, and I'll be going back and I start work on the second of January," she says. "Basically, we've kind of worked on the first half of the album, which was really just me, my drummer and Steve [Osborne, producer]. Then the second half of the album is all going to be recorded live with a band, and then we're going to mix it all up." And even with the success of 'Eye to the Telescope' keeping her busy, including a brief December U.S. tour, Tunstall is optimistic that fans will hear her new music soon. "It should be finished by the end of February, so, fingers crossed, it's a springtime record," she says. Taken from AOL Keywords :
