Fall Out Boy Make 'Enemies' On TourPosted December 4 2006 01:44 PMFall Out Boy will be keeping it real -- as in real small -- on their two-week 'Friends or Enemies' club tour. New Found Glory, the Early November and Permanent Me will serve as openers, with Lifetime on board for select dates. This mini-tour is slated to launch in San Francisco on Jan. 4, and conclude in Orlando, Fla., on Jan. 20, with additional dates to be announced. The brief jaunt is in support of Fall Out Boy's fourth full-length, the follow-up to 'From Under the Cork Tree,' titled 'Infinity on High.' The efffort is due Feb. 6, with the anthemic 'This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race,' serving as the lead single. "Everybody wants to write music that cures cancer," bassist Pete Wentz told AOL Music of the impetus for 'Infinity.' "I want to write songs that are like scars, where it's like you don't really need a scar 'cause you can just wear a jacket, but it looks pretty f***ing good and it does feel all right sometimes."
