Will.I.AmBirthdate: March 15 1975 br> Genres: RAP/R&BWilliam James Adams Jr (born March 15, 1975), better known as will.i.am, is a founding member of Black Eyed Peas. Adams is of Jamaican descent. He went to Palisades High School and graduated in 1993. He produced the majority of The Black Eyed Peas' music albums, as well as the main theme song for the American animated television show, Samurai Jack, and appeared as a tutorial and advisor in The Urbz. will.i.am also has his own fashion line, i.am clothing. His best friends, Taboo, apl.de.ap and Fergie are also members of The Black Eyed Peas. He also recorded a song for Dexter's Laboratory. will.i.am cites the Red Hot Chili Peppers as an influence and he appeared on a documentary on Radio 1 about the history of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, claiming that he named the Black Eyed Peas in a similar fashion to the Chilis, naming the band after a food. Will.i.am will be spending 6 months of the next few years living in Australia promoting local R&B and hip hop talent, which will centre him around an upcoming reality show. In 2004, he made the song "Go" on the video game Madden NFL 2005. In 2005, will.i.am recorded the song "I Am Somebody" with guitarist Carlos Santana for his album All That I Am. 2006 saw the release of Sergio Mendes album Timeless which will.i.am produced. In 2006, he was featured in the song "That Heat" from Sergio Mendes, accompanied by Erykah Badu. Will is the primary vocalist, but the song is billed to Mendes's piano stylings. The video was featured on Yahoo!'s music service. Also in 2006 he was featured in the Pussycat Dolls' single, "Beep".
