Skee-Lo is the stage name of Antoine Roundtree, a rapper who was moderately popular in the mid-1990s. He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, and grew up in Riverside, California. He is best known for the self-deprecating pop-rap 1995
hit single "I Wish", in which he wishes he was "a little bit taller"
(Skee-Lo is 5 ft 4 in, or 1.63 m). The single and the album I Wish were both certified gold by the RIAA in 1995.
