Producer-DJ team, Milk & Sugar, have become internationally
renowned as Germany´s leading House-Act. ’Milk & Sugar Recordings’,
their award-winning record label, which was set up five years ago,
guarantees top results in club charts all over Europe. They´ve
rightfully earned respect by doing remixes for Samantha Mumba, Mya,
Usher as well as Bel Amour. They’ve also remixed and co-produced
alongside US filter-house producer Robbie Rivera on his top 15 seller
’Bang’.
Milk & Sugar have been making music together ever
since 1993. Their memorable hit-release of “Higher and Higher” in the
late 90ies served as their international breakthrough. Originally
released as a B-side track, ‘Higher & Higher’ aroused the attention
of countless Djs as David Morales selected it for his compilation with
Danny Rampling in 2000. Morales also gave this track the deserved VIP
treatment by creating three amazing re-mixes thereof. ‘Higher and
Higher‘ enjoyed extreme success in the International Dance Charts, and
performed outstandingly in sales charts in the UK and Germany.
Last
year Milk & Sugar re-worked John Paul Young´s 1978 classic tune
’Love Is In The Air’. Its marketing campaign kicked-off in the most
trendy hot spots in Ibiza. Again, they were supported whole-heartedly
by DJs such as Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Full Intention, and DJ
Pipi (DJ in legendary ‘Pacha’). This track received an abundance of
radio airplay all over Europe, and consequently Milk & Sugar earned
a strong position in the International Sales Charts (eg. Spain #14, UK
#25, Norway #29 and Germany#33 )
Milk & Sugar are not only
fully booked-up as producers, but every weekend they play at exciting
party locations all over the world and the hottest spots of the
Mediterranean Islands. Milk & Sugar received the Italian DJ Award
in 2001, and of course during the annual promotion tour for their own
‘Disco House Compilation’, they also play at the best club in the
world, the famous ‘Space’, in Ibiza.
After their last fresh and
funky new club smasher "Lift Me Up", which was released on April 8th
2002 with mixes from Montilla and Todd “The God” Terry, Milk &
Sugar have been working on their follow-up “I Got This Feeling” with
the breathtaking voice of ex-Bizzare-Inc. singer Angie Brown. For their
own album, they have also recorded songs with Glen Goldsmith, Angie
Brown, French Affair, Darryl D´Bonneau and Sabrynaah Pope.
